This is the most crucial fundraising deadline to date. On October 1st, everyone will know if we’ve met our goal of $1,500,000 or not.

Let’s talk about $1,500,000 though. It seems like a lot of money, right? For us too. When we set this goal, we knew it was ambitious, but we also knew if anyone could get it done -- the Yang Gang could.

We chose this number for three reasons:

1. It will show the naysayers and the skeptics that this campaign is viable and ready to win the nomination.
2. We need to be strong in Iowa and New Hampshire, and the only way to do that is to hire more organizers and open more offices. Our organizers are the ones on the ground talking to caucus goers and persuading folks to support Andrew.
3. We need to continue to grow Andrew’s national name recognition which means investing in digital and TV ads.
