Donald Trump must be convicted, John. Full stop.

From soliciting foreign interference in our elections to inciting violence on the U.S. Capitol and our democracy (and everything in between), it’s no wonder Trump is the only president to have been impeached twice.

He must face the consequences for his actions. But Senate Republicans have already made up their minds to give Trump a pass once again, leaving the door wide open for future offenses and attacks against our democracy.

Democrats are fighting for accountability, and we need to send a clear message to Mitch McConnell and Senate Republicans that if they acquit Trump again, we won’t let them live it down.

We’re laying the groundwork to defend and expand our majority by defeating Republicans in 2022. Make a contribution to Defend the Senate to power our work.

Every Senator who lets Donald Trump get off scot-free needs to be voted out, and we need to make sure we have the resources to defeat them.
