Jack -- on Monday night we got a briefing from the Recall Gavin Newsom signature verification team and we are sounding the alarm. WE NEED YOUR HELP NOW!

With only five weeks to go, we still need roughly 600,000 more signatures! San Diego County Republicans have been asked to do OUR PART to pick up the pace â and I have authorized our county party to step up our efforts immediately.

Hereâs what weâre doing:

--getting our army of volunteers deployed around the county collecting signatures
--calling, emailing, and texting Republicans in the county to sign the recall petition
--launching a massive program to educate Republicans that this HAS to happen and how to play a role
