Dear Friend,

Driving rain, bitter wind, icy snow—for a “backyard dog,” every winter day can
be a miserable struggle to survive, and some of the coldest days may be yet to
come.

This Valentine’s Day, we’re asking PETA supporters like you to give the gift of
shelter and care—and love—to a dog kept chained alone outside through this long
winter.

Make a gift now and give shelter and care to a dog stuck outside. Right now,
every gift will get matched with a bowl full of nutritious vegan dog food from
v-dog—even $2 can help!

For many dogs, Valentine’s Day will be just another cold and lonely day, with a
heavy chain making their world no bigger than one small patch in a muddy
backyard.

When our fieldworkers encounter an “outside dog,” they do all that they can to
persuade the owner to allow the dog to live indoors as a beloved family member.
But if the owner refuses, our team does everything that they can to make that
dog’s life a little more comfortable.

That’s where you come in. Our fieldworkers must be able to give a sturdy PETA doghouse to every dog they
meet who needs one.

Will you help provide a dog with lifesaving care and shelter now?

dog in need.

Until Valentine’s Day, every gift will also provide a bowl of healthy vegan dog
food, thanks to our friends at v-dog—meaning in addition to supplying shelter
and care, you can help feed a hungry dog, for as little as $2!

Thank you for helping my team reach as many dogs as they can this month.

Kind regards,

Daphna Nachminovitch
