Dear Advocate,

The COVID-19 pandemic has disrupted all aspects of everyday life, from work to school, to visiting the doctor or seeing friends and family. For those living with cystic fibrosis, these challenges may even be magnified.

That’s why the CF Foundation is calling on Congress to act quickly and boldly to protect the health and well-being of those Americans most at risk during the pandemic.

TAKE ACTION NOW ([link removed])

Our message is clear: Congress must pass a comprehensive COVID-19 relief bill now that supports the needs of people living with CF. This includes providing more resources to states for COVID-19 vaccination distribution so people with CF can get vaccinated as swiftly as possible, expanding paid family and medical leave to enable those at increased risk to stay safely at home, boosting funding for Medicaid and the National Institutes of Health, and expanding access to telehealth services during the pandemic.

We cannot afford to wait any longer to address the needs of and challenges facing individuals living with cystic fibrosis and their families during this public health emergency.

Advocate, will you join me in calling on Congress to act without delay? Send a message now ([link removed]) urging your members of Congress to pass a bold COVID-19 relief package that supports people living with cystic fibrosis during the pandemic.
