* The Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works advanced the nomination of Michael Regan ([link removed]) for administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency by a vote of 14-6 on Tuesday.
* The Senate Judiciary Committee scheduled ([link removed]) Merrick Garland’s ([link removed]) confirmation hearing for U.S. attorney general on February 22-23, 2021. Garland will testify on the first day, while outside witnesses will speak on the second day.
