All across the state of Texas, we’ve heard from folks who are trying to get the COVID-19 vaccine. Some of these messages are success stories, like the stories coming out of Amarillo below. Others are more of a mixed bag. But many are stories of frustration and confusion: the inability to get on a list or secure an appointment to get that jab in the arm. We’re collecting these stories – good, bad or in-between – in an effort to depict what the vaccine distribution process looks like on the ground. And we want to hear your story. You can read more about that in today’s newsletter. We’re doing our best to stay on top of the vaccine story, and hope you can tune in today to hear one members of Texas’ vaccine allocation panel describe how the state
decides where the doses actually go. In the meantime, we hope you enjoy the stories we highlighted below. Until next week, stay safe - and don't give up.
