BREAKING NEWS: moments ago, the New York Times reported that NRA Chief Executive Wayne LaPierre met with Donald Trump in the White House just a few hours ago.

The topic was clear:

Support from the NRA defending Trump in his impeachment in exchange for Trump dropping any consideration of legislation to keep our communities safer from gun violence.

It's really hard to be shocked by the gun lobby and this administration, but here we are. Shocked again. But the most important thing we can do right now is fight back -- because progress on this issue is still possible.

Can you make a $3 contribution to Giffords today? We have a chance at passing gun violence prevention legislation and we can't let the NRA win.

Wayne LaPierre knows our pressure is working, that's why he raced to the White House today. So we can't stop now. Let's win this thing -- because winning means saving lives.
