FORCASTED ICE STORM
The weather forecasts indicate dangerous driving conditions, so the OCPAC executive team has cancelled this week's Wednesday luncheon with Cal Beisner.

Dr. Beisner will speak for us next week.

Next week (February 17) is at the Capitol View.
Located at 50th and Lincoln.

WHILE YOU RELAX AT HOME...

We need each of you to contact the Common Education Committee where HB 2673 will be heard. It could be heard as early as next week.

Tell them you support HB 2673 which allows children currently forced to attend schools which receive an "F" rating three years in a row to use their education funds to attend the school of their choice public or private.

No one will debate you. You will simply be thanked for the call and your support will be recorded and given to the legislator.

Find the committee members here.

Find their contact information here.

Be polite!

If you get a recording, leave your message.
They count the calls.

Of the 45,863 kids in F grade schools state-wide, 30,662 are in either the Oklahoma City Public School system and the Tulsa Public School system. Approximately 2/3rds of the 45,863 are Hispanic or Black. Over 2/3rd are from Economically Disadvantaged homes.

Lincoln set the slaves free in the 19th century. We need to finish what the party of Lincoln began by finishing the work now in the 21st century.

Inner-city children need to be set free from the grossly under-performing institutions we force them to attend.
