Did you watch any of the opening day of the (2nd) Trump impeachment trial
today?
The Democratic Impeachment Managers from the House were led by Rep. Jamie
Raskin – a leading constitutional scholar and former People For the
American Way Senior Fellow – and the case they made for impeachment on the
opening day of the trial was devastating and undeniable.
Rep. Raskin, citing eerily prescient quotes from the founding of our
nation about the threats to republics, the liberties of the people,
elections, and the peaceful transfer of power, made the point in his
opening remarks that "President Trump may not know a lot about the framers
but they certainly knew a lot about him."
