John,

This reporting has us worried about the fight ahead to protect voting rights:

The Hill: Republicans plan voting overhauls after Biden's win

And here's the most important part:
"The proposals come after months of pressure from former President Trump, who with the help of Republican allies spread false claims and conspiracy theories related to the election, including that widespread voter fraud cost him a victory."

Donald Trump may be out of office, but he is still leading the GOP and perpetuating the "Big Lie" about our elections.

But here's what we can do about it:

In 2022, we can increase Democratic control of crucial Secretary of State positions to defend and expand voting rights. But our work starts right now. TODAY!

If we don't have the resources to help build winning campaigns, we could see the GOP grab Secretary of State offices and impose draconian voter suppression rules to keep Republicans corruptly in control for years.

That's why I'm asking you today to help us take on the GOP in the fight to protect voting rights. Will you chip in $27 or more today and help us raise $25,000 in the next 48 hours to help Democrats win?

Democratic Secretaries of State are on the front lines to ensure we have safe and secure elections. 2020 was the most secure election in American history, in large part because of the work of Secretaries of State who stood on the side of democracy.

But losing the White House and the Senate has only made the GOP more determined to do whatever it takes to regain power.

Their go-to plan is voter suppression.

That's why electing Democratic Secretaries of State is so important--but we can't do it without your help.

Will you give $27 or more and help us reach our goal? Every dollar you can give will help Democrats and our fight to protect voting rights.
