There’s a lot being written about 2020 right now, and everyone is up against a quarterly deadline. I get it. But I want to let you know why you should help out Doug Jones – and why it matters that you help today.

Forget the Presidential race for a minute. No matter who wins the White House, if Mitch McConnell is still Senate Majority Leader, we’ll be stuck with the same old extreme policies.

We have to win the Senate. And to win the Senate, we have to re-elect Doug Jones.

All the data we’re seeing has us feeling very confident but trust me – this is going to be a very close race. We know Doug can improve on his 2017 win, but a few things have to happen:

1. Doug has to close out this quarter strong. He’s already being attacked by McConnell and his allies. We have to show we’ve got what it takes to fight back.

2. We have to turn out (and register) more voters than ever before. Team Doug has been working hard to make sure that every person who can vote will vote, and they need your help to keep it up.

3. And maybe most importantly: Every single Alabamian needs to hear Doug’s message of One Alabama for everyone. It’s not just a slogan. You know as well as I do that when people go back to their corners, nothing ever gets done. Whether that’s a discussion you have over dinner with a friend or relative or in Congress. What we’re seeing is that people want to come together. They want to be united. And our opponents are going to work really hard to keep us divided.

We made history together in 2017, and I know we can do it again. It’s going to take every one of us – anything you can give will help build this movement. [[link removed]]
