They’re pulling the teeth out of the watchdog. Dear Friend, Yesterday, the House began a move to oust Jim Lyons from a seat at the table when a new top political finance watchdog is appointed. Outrageous. Take a look at this article. Makes me wonder what they’re trying to hide. It also makes me more proud than ever to be on Jim’s team. I love the way he’s exposing the Democrats and their crazy issue positions, like Giving Driver’s Licenses to Illegal Immigrants, Legalizing Post-Birth Abortion, and Making Massachusetts a Sanctuary State. You and I have waited a long time for a strong conservative voice to champion our values. And now that we’ve got one, the Dems are terrified. How do we know? Like a pack of middle school bullies, they’re changing the rules to keep Jim Lyons out of the game. Why? I can only guess. Maybe they have a crony in mind for the next head of the Office of Campaign and Political Finance, and they suspect Jim won’t stand for it. Maybe they are simply being petty. But here’s what I think: I think they’re scared. I think the Dems know they’ve gone too far with their left-wing lunacy, and they know that when the voters back home see what Beacon Hill is up to, it’ll be the end of their cushy jobs. And those trembling hypocrites would rather pull the teeth out of the state’s top fiscal watchdog than face Lyons on a bipartisan committee. I feel sorry for the Dems. Jim’s been chairman for a just a few months, and he’s already built a strong organization. We are turning up the heat on them more and more every day. Today would be a great day to show Jim your support. September 30 is the end of the third quarter, you know. Click here to help Jim build the strong, aggressive State Party we need.
