Friends -- each morning, our team gathers to give each other updates about our work. And I’m not going to lie -- those meetings have been pretty interesting this week with a new major news development happening every morning.
But that hasn’t stopped our staff from continuing to work hard to make real, tangible change. I’m inspired by their persistence, and inspired by the support that Iowa Democrats all over the state have shown us.

Look, I know that there’s a lot of important news happening right now across Iowa -- and of course in Washington. Despite all of this, our team has remained laser focused on organizing the most successful Iowa caucuses ever, laying the groundwork to defeat Joni Ernst, building our rural organizing infrastructure, and so much more.
There’s a lot to be worried about, but we have a lot to be hopeful for, too. Folks all across Iowa are getting fired up about the caucuses and about the 2020 general election. I know that this team will step up and help us seize this once-in-a-lifetime moment.
