Hi, 

My name is Natalie Green and I am a Special Olympics athlete from the great state of Utah! Today, I am meeting virtually with my Members of Congress, along with Special Olympics athletes, Ambassadors, and supporters from 48 states across the U.S. We're here to ask lawmakers to continue partnering with Special Olympics to provide high-quality, cost-efficient health and education initiatives in the United States -- free of cost to athletes like me!

Why is today so important? My fellow athletes and I are speaking up about the stigmas we face, especially when it comes to health care and education. Did you know that I am far more likely to be denied health care? Or that I am more likely to graduate from high school at a lower rate than my peers? Just because I have ID. 

But we are here and ready to show my representatives that we are not just a statistic. We are leaders in a movement to end discrimination and empower everyone with ID. But in order to build a truly inclusive world, we rely on supporters like you, to help us get on the field and reach our full potential.
