Congratulations to Ana for correctly identifying our fabulous flying waterfowl Gadwall (Mareca strepera). Unlike many species of birds in North America, waterfowl (including Gadwall) numbers have increased due to successful partnerships between conservationists, the Duck Stamp ([link removed]) program and hunters!
