LAPPL 38th Annual Scholarship Program
The League’s Annual Scholarship Awards program application is now available online! The deadline for the online application is February 26, 2021, at 5 p.m. The program is open to college-bound dependents of active, retired or reserve LAPPL members (lieutenant rank and below only), who have held continuous membership in the League for more than one year prior to the scholarship application submission date. Up to $10,000 in scholarships will be awarded each year, for a period of two years with continued proof of meeting minimum GPA standards. To complete the online application, click here.
The essay will be administered remotely on Saturday, March 27, 2021. No alternative scheduling arrangements will be made. NO EXCEPTIONS!
Essays will be judged on the applicant’s ability to analyze the essay question and then
appropriately respond to it in writing. Finalists will be selected by the League Scholarship
Committee. Your completed online application and official transcript (digital or physical) must both be received by the League NO LATER than February 26, 2021, at 5 p.m.
