Yesterday, we set a goal of getting 45 more donors to chip in before the big end-of-quarter fundraising deadline -- and so far a lot of people have stepped up.

But to be honest, we're a bit behind where we wanted to be right now. Can you help us stay on track and chip in whatever you can before Monday's deadline?

As a grassroots organization, we rely on people like you to help fund our work.

Without you, we won't be able to do things like recruit and train candidates of color to bring a reflective democracy into Texas politics, register voters to make sure all Texans are heard, and build the movement it's going to take to cement Texas' status as a true battleground state.

We started this organization with the simple idea of turning the Lone Star State into a battleground state by treating it like one, and our work is paying off.

News organizations like CNN, NPR, The New Republic, and The New York Times are all claiming that Texas could be a swing state in 2020. We have a huge opportunity right now and we can't afford to miss out on it simply because we didn't hit a budget goal.

So we're asking you directly, friend: Will you pitch in to turn our 6-year-old idea into a reality?
