During a time when the poor have gotten poorer and the rich richer, Dianne has continued to stand up and speak out for working people — making clear her commitment to demanding justice for the working poor and our unhoused neighbors.
This is truly a movement of the people. Our campaign has the most contributions $50 or less out of any mayoral candidate, and 30% of our donations come from unemployed New Yorkers. That’s are humbling facts, and they underscore that everyday New Yorkers aren’t interested in returning to the pre-pandemic status quo.
That also means we might not raise as much money as candidates with deep ties to those with deep pockets, like the political establishment, luxury real estate developers and corporations — and the media have noticed and are already counting us out:

We can rebuild a city in which every person lives in dignity, as is every New Yorker's right. Together, let's send a message that our movement is not going anywhere.
