Before the historic second impeachment trial of Donald Trump begins, we’re trying to add another 1,000 names to our petition calling on Senate Republicans to do their job by convicting Trump.
Despite overwhelming evidence of his guilt, Republicans have so far signaled that they will not vote to convict Trump.
This isn’t just some formality. Even though Trump is no longer in office, we need to set the precedent that presidents who incite insurrections against the U.S. Government will be held accountable. We need to make sure that this never happens again.
