Friend, On January 20th, I watched as we inaugurated President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris. It was a historic moment and a breath of fresh air after four long years under the Trump administration. And now President Biden has gotten to work. Clearly, when President Biden said he would get to work on day one, he meant it. But now it’s time for us to get down to work in the House to back him up. Currently, the Biden Harris administration's immigration plan calls for an eight-year pathway to citizenship for all 11 million undocumented immigrants, eliminating green card penalties, expanding the immigration channels, and creating support for immigrants in the United States. I am looking forward to working with the Biden administration in reforming our immigration system. As the daughter of immigrants, this issue is one of my top priorities.
Let’s get this done. -- Yvette P.S. On February 17th, we're hosting an event on immigration. You can RSVP here!
