Friends:

Over the past few weeks, we’ve asked you to weigh in on what issues you’d like to see Kirsten focused on in Washington. To the thousands of you who have already taken the time to respond: Thank you!

Your thoughts and feedback help inform Kirsten’s work in the Senate and provide invaluable insight into the concerns of voters across the country.

Today, I wanted to share a few key findings from our survey—and give you another chance to add your voice if you haven’t completed our priorities survey yet.

The number-one issue on people’s minds is getting the coronavirus pandemic under control and rebuilding our economy. Kirsten understands that now is not the time for half-measures. She’s fighting for extended unemployment support, $2,000 stimulus checks, a $15 minimum wage, emergency paid family and medical leave, direct funding for state and local governments, and a public health jobs program to ensure efficient and equitable vaccine distribution.

Over half of our supporters listed climate change among their top concerns. As an original co-sponsor of the Green New Deal resolution, Kirsten believes the fight against global climate change should be our generation’s moonshot. She’s fighting for a Green New Deal that would modernize our economy and create good-paying green jobs, ensure every person in America has access to clean air and clean water, and prioritize rural advancement and marginalized communities.

We’ve seen just how critical access to quality, affordable health care is during the pandemic—it’s no surprise that health care was also a top priority for survey respondents. Kirsten’s “Health Force” bill would invest billions in local public health infrastructure and recruit, train and employ hundreds of thousands of out-of-work Americans to administer the COVID-19 vaccine, particularly in underserved communities disproportionately impacted by the pandemic.

If you haven’t already, please take 30 seconds to complete our short survey. Your input is so helpful in shaping our priorities and strategy for the year.

Thank you for adding your voice!
