The white nationalists who attacked the U.S. Capitol on January 6 were
organized and ready to do harm — fueled by Trump's incendiary lies about
the election. The House held Trump accountable by quickly impeaching him
after the attack. Now, the Senate must convict Trump for the violence he
incited.
This is the bottom line: Convict Trump. Hold him fully accountable.
Protect our democracy. I was one of the most outspoken Members of Congress
calling for Trump’s impeachment right after the attack because I witnessed
exactly what happened.
[ [link removed] ]I will continue to lead and speak out about the need to convict Trump,
but I need to know if you’re with me in this fight. Fuel my push to hold
Trump accountable with a donation today — we can only get this done if we
build a movement together.

We can’t just move on from the attacks on the Capitol — not after what
happened. This is not just about what happened to members of Congress,
it’s about what happened to custodial staff, aides, everyone who feared
for their lives that day, and our entire country. Our lives were at risk
but so was our democracy.
We see what happens when people in power ignore violent rhetoric and white
supremacy. Securing accountability — for Trump and everyone else involved
in the insurrection — is a critical part of ensuring that an attack like
this never happens again.
[ [link removed] ]I won’t shrug this off or say we need to just move on. I will continue
saying we need to hold Trump accountable until the Senate convicts him. If
you’re with me, contribute to my campaign today so we can keep protecting
our democracy from right-wing extremists.
I won’t stop, and I know you won’t either.
In solidarity,
Pramila
