Dear John,

I am so grateful for your support last year. I’m sure you would agree that we’d never imagined the world around us would change as it did last March.

When the COVID-19 pandemic suddenly shuttered the performing arts and entertainment industry—putting so many people out of work—you stepped up and supported those in need in our community. John, your generosity has been inspiring.

Today, as we launch our 2021 Annual Fund Drive, I’m hoping you will continue your commitment to our performing arts and entertainment family by making a generous gift by the end of the week.

The Actors Fund had record demand for our services last year, and we expect this year to be even more challenging as theaters and TV/film sets continue to be closed across the country. We’ve set ambitious goals so that we can be there to assist members of our community who turn to us for help. But to meet these goals, we are counting on your continued support today.
