Matt has recently been pushing hard for the Raise the Wage Act to raise the federal minimum wage to $15/hour by 2025. The minimum wage hasn’t been updated in more than a decade, so it’s no surprise that no American living anywhere can afford rent, food, and other essentials on a minimum wage of $7.25/hour. That’s why Matt is fighting hard to put more money in people’s pockets — all American workers deserve a living wage.

The Raise the Wage Act would help Northeastern Pennsylvania workers by raising their annual wages an average of $3,700. Working folks deserve to earn a living wage and passing this bill would help them do just that.
