The RfA Board has been having a wonderful time honoring the retirement of our executive director, Marilyn Paarlberg, celebrating Room for All's vital ministry, and ensuring our future! Celebration parties in Pella, Iowa, and Kingston and Schenectady, NY have been memorable and joyful events, and the fun has just begun!
A private house party takes place this weekend in northern New Jersey, followed by events in Middletown, New Jersey, New York City, and Hudsonville, Michigan. If you would like to attend one of these celebrations, read below for all the info you need. Notice that two of these require reservations; don't wait too long! We'd love to see you there!

NEW YORK CITY // THURSDAY, OCT. 24, 6 – 8 PM
NYC metro area friends are invited to this opportunity to share gratitude, reflect on RfA’s ministry, and secure our mission going forward! A cocktail hour celebration will take place at The Loft at Marble Collegiate Church, 274 5th Ave., 6 – 8 PM. This event is FREE, but reservations are required due to a 75-person capacity. WEST MICHIGAN // TUESDAY, OCTOBER 29, 6 PM
Please join us at “The Story of Us,” a Room for All event that celebrates Marilyn Paarlberg’s service, affirms our commitment to welcome and full affirmation of LBGTQ people, and raises money to support Room for All’s continued work. The event is on Tuesday, October 29 at 6:00 p.m. at The Pinnacle Center, in Hudsonville, and includes a social time, dinner, and program honoring both Marilyn and the Room for All mission.
