Hello,

Breaking news: The House has implemented a $5,000 fine for members who refuse to comply with basic security screenings before entering the House chambers, with a $10,000 fine being introduced for repeat offenders.

The least surprising part of the resolution? Every Republican present voted "No" on the motion.

Democrats have repeatedly reported fearing for their lives around their Republican colleagues -- many of the new Republican representatives have not only openly encouraged their supporters to use physical violence against Democrats but have also admitted to bringing guns into the House chamber themselves.

Republican Rep. Greg Steube called the fines on bringing firearms into the Capitol "appalling" and an "atrocity" -- both far stronger condemnations than he ever gave to those who stormed the Capitol building and cost the lives of 5 Americans.

As our progressive champions in the Senate fight for a safer country, we want to make sure our supporters are behind them. Please, let us know:

Do you think the QAnon Republicans are a physical threat to Democrats?
