Hello,
Tomorrow, Donald Trump's second impeachment trial will begin. But no matter how it ends, it won't be enough.
Senators Ted Cruz, Josh Hawley, and many more helped incite last month's insurrection at the Capitol that left six people dead and more injured. They repeated Trump's lies about the election, voted to toss out the votes of millions, and now have the power to vote against holding Trump accountable.
Cruz, Hawley, and many of their colleagues in Congress represent some of the most diverse cities in the country, and we can and must replace them with representative leaders.
You can play a crucial role in training, recruiting, and supporting Black leaders who will defend our democracy and defeat these extremists. Chip in now to continue building Black political power after the impeachment trial ends.

It wasn't enough for GOP politicians to pass voter suppression laws and make it difficult or nearly impossible for many people of color to vote in the last election. They actually tried to overturn the election once the votes were counted.
We elected new leaders like Rep. Cori Bush and defended others like Rep. Lauren Underwood despite all the obstacles thrown in our way, but we have to keep our momentum building. Sitting on the sidelines and simply watching the impeachment trial isn't enough.
Make sure we're ready to keep fighting and keep building power after the trial is over. Chip in now to ensure more Black candidates are ready to win in 2021 and beyond.
