Dear John,

Pollinators are being wiped out in record numbers. With Valentine’s Day right
around the corner, we need your help to show them some love. RSVP now.

Lowe’s and Home Depot continue to sell Bayer-Monsanto’s Roundup in their stores.
Glyphosate, the active ingredient in Roundup is wiping out milkweed -- the only
food source for monarch caterpillars. We’ve seen a 90% decline in monarchs in
the last 20 years alone. This toxic pesticide is also putting bees and other
pollinators at risk.

It’s time to take action and protect our pollinators! Friend, for the sake of our health, our pollinators, and our environment,
join other activists throughout the nation and demand Home Depot and Lowe’s get
Roundup off their shelves!

What: Week of Action to protect pollinators from Roundup. There will be options to
take action at a Lowe’s or Home Depot store or to participate from home, on
social media, or even offline. We’ll send you a toolkit with all the details
after you sign up.

When: Starting February 8th through Valentine’s day.

Where: From anywhere in the U.S.!

RSVP Now to take part in the Valentine’s Week of Action to protect pollinators!

Lowe’s and Home Depot can play a huge role in ending the use of this toxic
pesticide, but so far neither has committed to reject Roundup -- even after
receiving over 160,000 petition signatures from activists like you.

Glyphosate isn’t only harmful to monarchs -- Roundup has also been found to harm
honeybee populations by increasing their risk of life-threatening infections and
impairing baby bees’ development.

Glyphosate also puts our health at risk. Last year, Bayer-Monsanto was ordered
by a jury to pay $2 billion to a couple who used glyphosate on their lawn for
decades and who both suffered from non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. Currently, there are
100,000 similar court cases pending.

If you’re concerned about the wellbeing of people, pollinators, and the planet,
please join the Week of Action. Help Friends of the Earth push Lowe’s and Home
Depot to do something about this crisis.

Sign up to show pollinators love this Valentine’s Day.

[[link removed]]Lowe’s and Home Depot could be leaders by removing Roundup from their store
shelves and online. Their competitor, Costco, already stopped selling this toxic product, but we
need these giant retailers to join in to protect our health and environment.

We still need 10,000 Friends of the Earth members to pledge to bump up the
pressure on Lowe’s and Home Depot the week of Valentine’s. Can we count on you
to join us?

Tell Lowe’s and Home Depot to protect people, pollinators, and the planet.
Demand they commit to stop selling Roundup!
