Hey John,
Thanks to a surge of support over the last few days, we are only $2,500 away from reaching our new $75,000 goal before our first quarterly deadline at midnight.
I'm grateful for your support today and every day, because our only hope to flip Florida blue and defeat Donald Trump is riding on everyday hardworking folks like you to power this movement.
Here's a link you can use to chip in what you can to help us hit our goal before midnight: [link removed] ([link removed])
On Friday, Governor Ron DeSantis signed into law an unconscionable bill rolling back Amendment 4 and creating a modern-day poll tax to stop returning citizens from voting.
John, they're going to do everything they can to stop us from registering and reengaging a million voters, that's the bottom line.
But I have to tell you: after talking with folks across the state and the country this weekend, the continued commitment to our cause has been simply awe-inspiring, John.
It's because this movement isn't about me, it's about you, our nation, and where we go from here.
We have a choice to make. Do we want to roll up our sleeves and put in the work to move forward, or sit on the sidelines and just hope that things turn out okay?
That's an easy choice for me to make, and I hope it's an easy choice for you, John.
My grandmother always used to say that if you want to win, you've got to get up off your feet and get in the game. That's why I'm not sitting on the sidelines, John, I'm laced up and ready to move the ball down the court.
Our future is on the line, and it's ours to change if we put in the work.
Forward.
Andrew Gillum
