This week, the Senate will begin Donald Trump’s second impeachment trial.

After Trump incited a violent, white supremacist attack on the U.S. Capitol in an attempt to stop the peaceful transfer of power, we know this is a pivotal moment for our democracy.

We think it’s clear: Senators have a responsibility to do their jobs to protect our democracy, stand up for the sacred peaceful transfer of power, and convict Donald Trump.

But we’re worried not all Americans agree.
