Following the January 6 attack on the Capitol, BPC brought together former members of Congress and staff to express their gratitude and support for those who risked their lives to defend democracy and the peaceful transfer of power. As a member of the CapitolStrong coalition, BPC organized this video to send a message of solidarity to the thousands of Americans working in the legislative branch, the epicenter of our representative government.

BPC in the News

As President Joe Biden took action this week to begin repealing the Trump administration’s immigration policies, BPC’s Director of Immigration and Cross-Border Policy Theresa Cardinal Brown explained why repealing these programs without replacing them would lead to chaos. Also this week, BPC held a fireside chat on climate change and opportunities to promote clean energy with Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV), who will be a key decision maker for future climate legislation.
