I’ve known State Assemblymember Jessica González-Rojas for more than 25 years, during which she has been fiercely committed to justice for communities that are often marginalized and left behind by our systems and structures. That’s why I’m thrilled that she gave me her endorsement yesterday. 

Jessica has always been a fighter for equity, dignity and what is right, and is a progressive force to be reckoned with in the New York State Assembly. We’re lucky to have her representing us in Albany. She’s truly a progressive leader who has never backed down from the fight for justice or been afraid to challenge the status quo.

Yesterday was even further affirmation that Jessica will never be one to compromise her values. I am honored and privileged to join this fearless guerrera and can’t wait to work alongside her from City Hall to deliver for our communities in Queens and the rest of New York City.
