New investigation released TODAY

‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌

Hello John,

Costco is selling cruelty in bulk—and itʹs making headlines.

In a New York Times exclusive, we discuss our most recent undercover investigation revealing the suffering of Costco chickens.

Our hidden cameras caught hours of abuse to baby chicks and chickens.

Chicks just a few days old are poured from plastic containers onto the floor. Scattered throughout the barn, many chicks suffer from illness or die.

As the surviving chicks grow, they endure even greater misery.

Many birds at these farms become almost featherless. Some flip onto their backs, beating their wings and kicking, in what looks like excruciating pain. Chickens who can barely walk tremble trying to fulfill their most basic needs, like eating and drinking. Many are too injured to move, and some even die of their injuries.

All they ever know is suffering.

More than 200 companies in the United States and Canada have committed to eliminating the worst abuse of chickens raised for meat, including Whole Foods, Burger King, and Subway. We are calling on Costco to do the same by adopting meaningful policies that reduce suffering for these birds.

Costco has the power to change the way chickens are treated. We must hold the company accountable.

We are standing up and speaking out against this cruelty, but we need you by our side to change the system. Will you sign the petition urging Costco to adopt policies that reduce the worst suffering for chickens?
