The New York Times:
"The Gerrymander Battles Loom, as GOP Looks to Press Its Advantage"

There's good news and bad news, friend. The good news is that thanks to our work and your support, Republicans won't be able to manipulate electoral maps as badly as they did in 2011.

The bad news is that they can still do a lot of damage -- and believe me, they want to. (They're already talking publicly about "securing a decade of power" through map manipulation.)

We have a plan to stop them in 15 key states -- but with all those battlegrounds, we're relying on this grassroots team for financial support. Will you pitch in to help us prevent another decade of Republican gerrymandering in all of the states?

I know many people are paying attention to what's going on in the White House and Congress -- and that's important -- but please don't forget that according to The New York Times, "the battles over redistricting are among the fiercest and most consequential in American government."

If the GOP gets their way on maps, Democrats' House majority could go up in smoke after 2022. We can't let that happen.

Redistricting has already started in some states, so our work couldn't be more urgent. If you have the financial resources, will you pitch in right away to help us prevent Republicans from manipulating the maps?
