We have fought for decades to ensure DREAMERs brought to America as children can work, study, and contribute to our nation without fear of deportation.
Polling shows that Democrats, Republicans, and Independents all support the DREAM Act. And now, without Mitch McConnell to stop it, we’re urging Congress to deliver on promises made to our immigrant communities.
There’s no time to waste as Democrats take over the Senate.
Sen. Dick Durbin, who has sponsored the DREAM Act for 20 years, said, ”To all of the Dreamers out there, I have told you many times: I have never given up on you; don't give up on me. I am going to pass the DREAM Act.”
Passing the DREAM Act will be one big step in undoing the last administration’s anti-immigrant, xenophobic legacy.
Let’s keep families together, and at long last, give DREAMers a pathway to citizenship.
