According to Senator Ted Cruz, impeaching Donald Trump is “petty” and “a waste of time.”
While interviewing with Fox News host Sean Hannity, Cruz condemned Democrats for trying to hold Trump accountable for inciting the violent Capitol riots that resulted in the deaths of five Americans.
In Cruz's words, “to coin a phrase, I think it's time to move on.”
It seems, at least to Cruz, that a month is more than enough time to overlook a direct attack on our democracy -- one that he and several of his Republican colleagues not only encouraged but sponsored by objecting to Biden's electoral win.
The GOP would love nothing more than for Americans to forget and “move on” from what we witnessed on January 6 -- it would give them a free pass to continue subverting our democracy without consequence. That's why today we need to hear from you. Are you ready to forgive and forget? Please tell us:
