Today begins Amazon’s self-described “2-day parade of epic deals‎”, Prime Day. For the next two days, Amazon workers will put in back-breaking hours to deal with the increased volume moving through their warehouses, all while being threatened with docked pay if they take too long of a bathroom break.

Thanks to the work of Senator Bernie Sanders and dedicated activists like you, we have already forced Amazon to raise their employees’ minimum wage to $15 an hour — but even though we’ve won, we’re not done.

That’s why Our Revolution is partnering with Warehouse Workers for Justice — we’re organizing to demand Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos create a safe and humane working environment, slow down the pace of work to reasonable speeds, and respect their fundamental right to organize.

STAND WITH AMAZON WORKERS

Amazon’s record with workers is shameful. One survey of a facility showed that 74% of Amazon workers skip going to the bathroom to avoid having their pay cut, and over 80% said they would never apply for another Amazon job again.

These workers are up against one of the wealthiest CEOs on earth. That’s why it’s so critical that we come together in solidarity and show we have their backs.

Add your name here to demand that Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos listen to Warehouse Workers for Justice and make immediate changes in how he treats workers.

If we stick together, in solidarity, workers will prevail once again.
