Your campaign brief for February 6, 2021

John-

Dan Crenshaw here.

This week, I continued to push back strongly against President Biden’s “America Last” agenda. I also spoke at the funeral ceremony for Capitol Police Officer Brian Sicknick and debunked the myth of electric vehicles solving climate change.

Now, here’s your campaign brief.

BIDEN’S 'AMERICA LAST' AGENDA

Watch: Dan Crenshaw speaks on President Biden's America Last Plan

Vaccines for terrorists, destroying energy jobs, and State Department officials who think police are a threat to national security.

These are all tenets of President Biden’s “America Last” agenda that we see more and more of every day.

President Biden’s secret vaccine plan is to…
give them to terrorists before health care workers and the elderly?

President Biden’s plan to fight climate change is to… cede our energy independence to Russia and Saudi Arabia by canceling the Keystone pipeline and banning oil and gas leases? And oil and gas workers who lose their jobs because of these orders will just go get solar and wind jobs? Even the Washington Post had to
fact check that ridiculous claim from John Kerry.

And President Biden’s plan to unify the country and tone down the rhetoric is to… hire a spokesperson who
once claimed that police officers are the “largest threat to U.S. national security?”

Every day, Joe Biden is proving that the era of prioritizing regular Americans is over. The America First agenda is gone and we have to focus all of our attention in taking back the House, Senate, and White House to ensure it returns.

REST EASY OFFICER BRIAN SICKNICK

Daily Wire Article: Crenshaw Honors Fallen Capitol Officer

On Wednesday, I spoke at the funeral ceremony for Capitol Police Officer Brian Sicknick at Arlington National Cemetery at the request of the Sicknick family. Brian Sicknick died from injuries suffered during the violence at the Capitol on January 6th.

During my remarks, I said that there is another common thread that links those buried at Arlington - some of my dearest friends are buried there - with Brian. These heroes are protectors. These are the men and women that stand in the breach. That gap between the helpless and the aggressor, between right and wrong, between good and evil. Many like to think they too could stand in that gap, but they’d be wrong.

This past year has been a low point, no doubt, but it is men like Brian that remind us of the grit and tenacity and good character that America was built on. He may not be with us anymore, but if we are to honor him then we should do so by using his memory as a reminder of what this country can be.

A reminder that there are indeed more like him. A reminder that the bravery and love inside of Brian Sicknick is not peculiar to him, but part of the American DNA. A reminder that our duty is to make these heroes proud, prove to them that their sacrifice was for a country worth sacrificing for. That we are a people worth sacrificing for. With men like Brian standing in the gap, it is hard to imagine that we are not.

ARE ELECTRIC VEHICLES REALLY THE SOLUTION TO CLIMATE CHANGE?

Dan Crenshaw on Facebook: Why is the left obsessed with electric vehicles?

You have to watch this video. Trust me, it’ll make you laugh. Click here or on the image above to watch and then consider the following:

Why is the left obsessed with electric vehicles? Joe Biden just proposed a plan to make America’s fleet of vehicles 100% electric.

But are they really all they’re hyped up to be? No.

On average, you might get less emissions from EVs, but that's not the whole picture. Here are the facts:

1. Electric vehicle parts rely on lithium batteries. Manufacturing lithium batteries, largely in China, for electric vehicles releases 30% MORE emissions than normal combustion engine manufacturing.

2. Our electricity is still primarily generated from natural gas and coal. So, depending on the fuel mix, your EV might rely on these fossil fuels and have higher emissions than a normal vehicle.

3. Forcing natural gas out of the market - which the left wants to do by banning fracking - ends up bringing us back to coal, which has 1.5x more emissions than natural gas.

4. Electricity is mostly generated by natural gas, nuclear, and coal. Solar and wind make up a VERY small percentage of that, despite taxpayers paying massive subsidies for it.

5. So when President Biden promises a new fleet of electric vehicles. Ask yourself: what powers those electric vehicles? And do they really deliver a “green revolution” the left is promising you?

To conclude:

So while average emissions might be less, it depends entirely on the energy source from the grid.

EVs are far from an environmentalist panacea. Massive infrastructure is required to support them, range is limited, and large industrial transport still needs gas.
