The Columbus Dispatch : “Ohio Sen. Sherrod Brown chastises Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul on Senate floor: 'Start wearing a mask'”
TELL SENATE REPUBLICANS TO MASK UP >> [[link removed]]
It wasn’t all that long ago that I had to ask my Senate Republican colleagues to wear masks to protect the Senate workers in their immediate vicinity and Ted Cruz responded by calling me a “complete ass” on Twitter.
UPDATE: Last night, I had to ask again when Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul was walking around and speaking on the Senate floor without a mask.
Senate Republicans are still refusing to protect the lives of the essential workers around them.
We need to keep up the pressure. Will you add your name and join me in telling Senate Republicans to mask up and protect essential workers? [[link removed]]
Wearing a mask is about respect, leading by example, and protecting everyone -- including the essential workers who are keeping our country going during a devastating pandemic.
My Senate Republican colleagues criticized me for asking them to wear masks and demonstrate basic decency toward the people around them. They might treat essential workers like they’re invisible, but I won’t.
I’ll never stop fighting for workers no matter what names Senate Republicans call me. Please join me in this fight -- add your name to mine and tell Senate Republicans to mask up. [[link removed]]
