Quick question for you, John: Could you imagine voting against a mask mandate in the middle of a pandemic?

Neither could we, but that didn’t stop Republicans in the state legislature from repealing Gov. Tony Evers’ mask mandate.

Luckily, Governor Evers immediately issued a new mask mandate. It’s the right thing to do, and it will save lives.

Don’t get it twisted. Wearing masks is not a political statement. It’s a mark of common decency. Governor Evers said it best:
 
“Wearing a mask is the most basic thing we can do to keep each other safe” — Governor Evers

We have no idea what Republicans are trying to prove. Honestly, we shouldn’t care.

Wearing a mask is the smallest thing you can do to keep other people safe. We couldn’t agree more with Governor Evers.
