Let’s take a breath, John.
It’s been two weeks since we inaugurated Joe Biden and Kamala Harris and confirmed a Democratic majority in the Senate. It’s clear that there’s still a lot of work ahead of us to heal our country and bring transformative change to our communities — but today, we want to take a moment and celebrate this movement and the women who made this opportunity for progress possible.
Women have endured so much these past four years — we were marathon runners in resisting the death-dealing of the past administration. But we refused to back down and instead chose to channel our energy to turn the tides of our country.
We want to recognize the accomplishments we pulled off together these past years and start looking ahead at the next fights we want to take on:
You did this, John. Everyday Women's Marchers like you made this new chapter in politics possible, and together, we'll continue to use our power to make sure that the Biden administration centers our most important priorities.
Especially as we continue to deal with the crises of COVID-19, mass unemployment, and the tide of disinformation, it’s critical that our movement keeps fighting for our families and the most vulnerable. Women are the soul and future of this country, and together we can make sure that we overcome the crises we currently face.
From training women to organize in their communities, combating digital disinformation, to putting pressure on Congress to pass policies that support working people — Women’s March is committed to fighting for a feminist future that lifts up all of us.
