Super Bowl beer sales look to score despite the pandemic

Typically, the Super Bowl is the first major social event of the year. Both the on-premise and off-premise prepare as enthusiastic fans make their plans to watch the big game. This year, like many other events since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Super Bowl will look different. So what will happen to beer sales this weekend? "It is looking like beer sales will finish close to 2020 Super Bowl sales this year," said NBWA's Chief Economist Lester Jones.

Florida beer industry partners with AG to fight human trafficking

The Florida Beer Wholesalers Association and the Beer Industry of Florida have been working hard to make sure beer distribution employees throughout the state are trained to recognize and report signs of human trafficking. They have partnered with Attorney General Ashley Moody to fight this heinous crime, which is especially with the Super Bowl in Tampa this weekend. These Highway Heroes have a unique position that allows them to effectively combat human trafficking in their communities.
