Space lasers causing forest fires? QAnon? Outright sedition? The
conspiracy-peddling MyPillow guy???

Apparently *this* is what Republican elected officials are falling over
themselves to embrace as they give standing ovations to people like
Marjorie Taylor Greene. Last night, a whopping 199 of 211 Republicans
sided with her in Congress — and if you think she's the worst of 'em, then
I've got bad news for you about some members of the PA GOP. 😬

Jokes aside, this absurdity has just got to stop. It poses a real danger
to our democracy, which has proven itself to be more fragile than we'd all
hoped. On January 6, the entire world witnessed what the enabling of
baseless conspiracy theories can lead to. And we found out the hard way
what can happen when loyalty to a political party becomes untethered from
allegiance to our country.

Look, John, I don't think I'm
alone in my belief that Pennsylvanians deserve leaders with the courage
and political will to stand up to this kind of dangerous, nonsensical
behavior. Someone who will call out this type of BS whenever and wherever
they see it. I've not *once* let myself be intimidated by GOP politicians,
and I don't intend to start any time soon.

I'm strongly considering a run for Senate because I believe I've got what
it takes to be a strong, honest, and inclusive voice for all 67 counties
in Pennsylvania — but I can't do this without you in my corner. [ [link removed] ]If you
can, I hope you'll chip in $5 to join me in this fight and
help build a campaign that represents all Pennsylvanians.

Exciting things to come,

Lieutenant Governor of Pennsylvania

P.S. I think Pennsylvania deserves a Senator who's
willing to fight for working people and to call out GOP buffoonery
whenever they see it. Know anyone? 😉 [ [link removed] ]If you can afford it today,
please contribute $5 if you've got my back.
