It’s been over ten years since the Federal minimum wage was raised, and on top of everything else happening in the world, no American should have to worry about putting food on their table if they’re working 40 hours per week. A greater number of American adults are working in retail and service industry positions that rely on the minimum wage. With many corporations reporting record profits, American workers must receive a liveable wage to support themselves and their families.
