The Actors Fund

Dear Actors Fund Friends,

To cope with the anxiety, fears and uncertainty of the past 11 months,
many of us have relied on things that we associate with comfort.
Certain foods, routines, music, clothes, locations-and
especially entertainment-have all been able to provide some sort
of reassurance. This is especially true of reunions of our favorite tv
shows, films and theatrical shows, which, through the lens of
familiarity and nostalgia, bring something we know we love, something
comforting.

We hope you join us for these upcoming virtual events (don't
forget your favorite snacks!) Thank you for your continued support of
the performing arts and entertainment community that brings us joy and
comfort when we need it the most.

The original Off-Broadway cast of Billy Porter's While I Yet Live,
including Tony winner Lillias White and Emmy winner S. Epatha
Merkerson, will reunite in a digital reading to benefit The Actors
Fund. Also returning are cast members Elain Graham, Sheria Irving,
Kevyn Morrow, Larry Powell and Sharon Washington, along with director
Sheryl Kaller. Porter's semi-autobiographical play follows a young
man's coming of age in Pittsburgh amongst a bevy of fascinating
and strong-willed women.
