UPDATE: CLAUDIA LEADS BY 123 VOTES IN NY-22 But Brindisi and Pelosi are standing in the way of certifying the vote count! Friend, Election Day was three full months ago –– but have you heard that there’s still one Congressional race that hasn’t declared a winner yet? Yes, you read that correctly. Thanks to Governor Cuomo’s last-minute rule changes, New York’s election system has been engulfed in chaos and the people of New York’s 22nd Congressional District still don’t have any representation in Washington as a result. My name is Claudia Tenney –– I’m a small business owner, Marine mom, conservative patriot, and I’m fighting with everything that I have to close out this election so that we can flip NY-22 from blue to red and fill that empty seat in Congress as soon as possible. But before that can happen, I need your help to defend our narrow lead of 123 votes. My opponent –– Anthony Brindisi –– and Nancy Pelosi know that the odds are stacked against them so they’ve resorted to using cheap delay tactics to try and stop the courts from making our conservative victory official. Republicans across this district are in a race against the clock to defend the integrity of their votes, and we’re all counting on your support to help us win this crucial election. This election is our FINAL opportunity to deliver one more conservative voice to Washington to stand up against Nancy Pelosi’s radical agenda for the next two years. That’s why I’m reaching out to you today. Can I count on you to pitch in $22 to help flip this district before it’s too late? How did my race get so complicated? Two words: Governor Cuomo. In the confusion of the pandemic, he rushed through last-minute changes to the electoral process by executive order. The changes to the voting rules weren’t clear, and the promised support from the state to help count the surge in absentee ballots never came. Governor Cuomo changed our electoral process by fiat. And he might have gotten away with it, too. But when it became clear NY-22 was going to be a photo finish, that’s when the wheels came off. The close scrutiny with which we had to eye every last ballot revealed so many irregularities. Unregistered voters casting ballots on election day. Dead people voting. It’s what happens when you have no verification system. Friend, I think that’s unacceptable. It’s unfair to our voters. It’s unfair to our constituents. And it’s unfair to our great Republic. It’s why I’ve been sounding the alarm everywhere I can: we need voter reform, now. I ran for Congress because Americans deserve the exact opposite of Nancy Pelosi — and that’s me. Nancy Pelosi plays politics with small business relief. I, like many small business owners, depend on small business relief to make payroll so my employees can provide for their families. Nancy Pelosi has spent her time in Congress fighting for the left’s radical socialist agenda and boosting her own career. I’ve spent my public life fighting for my district and my values and will NEVER change. I’ve sat and watched as Nancy Pelosi and her leftwing majority have used their power to play political games with the livelihoods of Americans across the country, delayed vital small business relief, and leveraged tragedy to push their extreme leftist ideas. Nancy Pelosi’s leadership has turned the People’s House into a partisan circus, hurting American businesses, workers, and families every step of the way. This doesn’t have to be the new normal. The government is capable of helping the American people, not hurting them. I know this from personal experience — I served upstate New York in the State Assembly for six years and represented my district in Congress for two more. It was one of the greatest honors of my life, and we worked hard to make it a little bit easier for single moms and small business owners like me to make ends meet. Now, I’m bringing that same kind of common sense conservative governance to Washington. Will you stand with me? I appreciate you reading this whole email. I hope you’ll take the time to stand with me today. -Claudia Tenney Contributions are not deductible for federal income tax purposes.
