Dear John,

The New York Immigration Coalition, in partnership with our colleagues at the California Immigrant Policy Center, invites you to join us ([link removed]) next Friday, February 12th at 1:00 p.m. for the first of a three-part series to launch A Blueprint for the Nation: Building Immigrant Power from New York to California ([link removed]) .

Over the last four years, states have led the charge to protect, advance, and build with immigrant communities. While we are hopeful the Biden/Harris administration will begin to unravel and undo the damage of the previous administration, we know that our communities cannot wait for federal solutions. To that end, NYIC and CIPC partnered to create a blueprint for the future of immigrant justice in our two states, memorializing critical wins we achieved while outlining a vision in key areas for immigrant equity and power building.

On February 12th, please join us for our first event ([link removed]) focusing on the power of states to support immigrant communities. We will be joined by elected leaders from both our states followed by a discussion about the powerful ways states can ensure Healthy Communities and coverage for all communities featuring organizers and policy advocates.

Sincerely,
Anu Joshi, NYIC and Almas Sayeed, CIPC
