It's another way they're trying to grab power -- just like gerrymandering. Both are part of the Republican playbook for maintaining minority rule, and both depend on silencing the voices of people of color.

We urgently need democracy reforms to make our system truly fair.

Here's what we're doing to bring fairness to our democracy:

➞ Working in 15 states to demand fair maps this year and in 2022

➞ Speaking out against burdensome voter suppression policies across the country that are based on lies

➞ Pushing for federal election fairness legislation, including the For The People Act and the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act
