What you need to do:
Submit your Candidate Declaration Statement — in a short paragraph explain why you’d like to serve on the Steering Committee and what you would like to accomplish. Email your statement to [email protected] and include your full name and employing office.
If you haven’t already, pay your 2021 dues ($20) through Venmo (@GLASS-Caucus) or Paypal. (Email Brian Kaplun if unsure on the status of your dues.)
Important dates:
February 12, at noon: Candidate Declaration Statement Due
February 16-19: Election period (more details to come)
Nota bene: You must be a current U.S. Senate employee and have paid your 2021 Calendar Year Dues to vote and run for the Steering Committee.
Worth remembering: GLASS Caucus is the official, nonpartisan LGBTQ staff association of the U.S. Senate. Visibility is crucial — we encourage all to run.
